STRING THEORY

String Theory is contemporary textile design made to meet the traditional standards of the craft. Long-time friends Lysanne Latulippe and Meghan Price combine their expertise in knitting and weaving to make a line of beautiful scarves using fabrics produced in small batches. They work with the math and physics of fibres – alpaca, merino, cashmere and other top-quality yarns – to develop structures, patterns and textures inspired by natural and man-made sources. The name “String Theory” is borrowed from a concept in physics that says the world is made of vibrating strings.
